Abstract
This study discusses the factors that affect the efficiency level of filling fishing supplies when time is wasted using a boat fishing boat, how it relates to the wasted time of fishing supplies at the Samudera Bungus Fishing Port, Padang City, West Sumatra Province, which was carried out in November until december 2020. The method used in this research is the survey method, by observing and collecting data directly regarding the efficiency level of filling time for fishing supplies on boats at PPS Bungus. The activity of filling fishing supplies at Bungus PPS is carried out from 08:00 WIB to 17:00 WIB, not in accordance with the operating hours of the Bungus PPS office. The results showed that the amount of fuel, ice cubes, clean water, the number of crew members, and the size of the ship affected the time wasted when filling up fishing supplies on a boat at PPS Bungus. The results also show that the level of efficiency is 67.18% or less efficient. The efficiency level is negatively affected by wasted time with a correlation value of 0.575 and a coefficient of determination (R2) 0.7107 and 28.9% influenced by other factors not examined. The results of the study when the most wasted time occurred while waiting for fuel filling had 36% and was followed by waiting for the arrival of ice 40%. If you look at the wasted time, there is a lack of efficiency in filling fishing supplies for boats at PPS Bungus.
