Interests of conflicting up in the Saik village, homecoming district kuantant
homecoming, kuantant singingi regency generally caused by gold without mining (PETI), by
the illegal there will be conflict between society. The interest conflict in question is between
the village government, mining and community actors. Gold mining without permission to
occur due to continuous economic downturns, because to perform mining activities they use
escavator’s heavy tools to dig the soil and cut down some rubber trees and oil. The method
used in this study is the descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, data
collection technique through interviews, observations, documentation. The result of this study
were the interest conflicting in Saik village has been since 2006 until now, the society
initially worked as a rubber farmer and oil palm farmers moved to mining efforts. Where
mining products get greater benefit than in farming income. The intended interest conflict is
the village government has the interest in preventing gold minings without permission (PETI)
in accordance with the regulation that apply that the gold mining being regulated is the illegal
work that have been set in mining law. The interest in excercising to the applicable provisions
without distinguishing every class, the interest of mining abuser is to remain activity to
improve the economy to slump. As for people’s interests, the right to be free from the impact
the chest sctivity has caused.
