Aplikasi Konsentrasi Cendawan Entomopatogen Beauveria Bassiana (Bals.) Vuillemin Lokal Terhadap Hama Wereng Batang Coklat (Nilaparvata Lugens Stal.) Pada Tanaman Padi (Oryza Sativa L.)
ABSTRACT
The main pest of rice plant (Oryza sativa L.) is brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens Stal.) pest. Brown planthopper pest causes several effects, namely hopperburn, as viruses vector and can results in crop failure. The control strategy applied by farmers until now is the use of synthetic insecticides, which cause resistance, resurgence and natural enemies as well as create secondary pests. This can be minimized with an alternative to environmental control with local entomophatogenic fungi Beauveria bassiana. The research was to obtain the concentrations of the local entomophatogenic fungi B. bassiana which was able as a bioinsecticides to control the brown planthopper pest on rice plants. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Pests and Experimental Gardens, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University from April to July 2020. The research was designed a completely randomized design with five treatments local entomopathogenic fungi concentrations B. bassiana 0 g.l-1 water, 10 g.l-1 water, 20 g.l-1 water, 30 g.l-1 water, 40 g.l-1 water and four replications, in order to obtain 20 experimental units. The results showed that the application of local entomopathogenic fungi B. bassiana with a concentration of 20 g.l-1 water contains a conidia density 31,5 x 108 con.ml-1 is a was able concentrations as a bioinsecticides to control brown planthopper pest with a total mortality of 77,5%, initial time of death 38 hours after application and lethal time 50 with a time of 93,25 hours after application.
