Early childhood education (PAUD) is a coaching effort that is proposed to children from birth to the age of six years, which is carried out by providing educational stimuli to assist physical and spiritual development, so that children have readiness to enter further education. Early childhood education aims to develop all aspects of children's development to bring out their potential optimally. These aspects of development include aspects of religious and moral values, cognitive aspects, social emotional aspects, physical motoric aspects, and language aspects. One aspect of early childhood development is the language aspect. The early age of a child's life that is most decisive in the development of intelligence is at the age of 0-8 years or what is often called the golden age. At this time the child will develop a very crisis and quickly absorb whatever the child gets from his environment. Based on the results of observations made by researchers, the relationship between speaking skills and self-confidence of children aged 5-6 years is included in the very low category and has several problems, this is said to be due to problems, including: 1) there are still some children who are afraid to come forward when held group study, 2) there are still children who are afraid to speak, 3) there are still children who are not confident because they are still talking stuttering.
