This study aims to determine the role of parents in the development of
speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years in RA Ash Shofa, Kubu District,
Rokan Hilir Regency. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with
descriptive methods. The population in this study were parents of B grade
children in RA Ash Shofa, Kubu District. The research sample was the parents
of 68 children. Data collection techniques through questionnaires. The results
of the research above are the role of parents in the development of speaking
skills of children aged 5-6 years in RA Ash Shofa, Kubu District, Rokan Hilir
Regency, obtained with a value of 5435 with an average of 76.12%.
