This study aims to determine the differences in the early reading ability of
boys and girls aged 5-6 years. The type of research used is comparative
quantitative. The study population was children aged 5-6 years who attended TK
Al-Munawarah, Merbau District, Meranti Islands Regency, with a sample of 60
children. Data analysis is primary data and uses a questionnaire. The results of
