This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of profitability, firm size,
foreign ownership and Good Corporate Governance variables on capital
structure and firm value. to test and analyze the effect of profitability, firm size,
foreign ownership and Good Corporate Governance variables on firm value
through capital structure and to test and analyze the effect of capital structure on
firm value. The population used in this study were 20 state-owned companies
listed on the IDX. The sample in this study were 17 companies that met the
predetermined sampling characteristics.
The analytical technique used in this research is path analysis. The results
showed that profitability, firm size and Good Corporate Governance had an effect
on capital structure and firm value. Capital structure mediates the effect of
profitability, firm size and Good Corporate Governance on firm value. Foreign
ownership has no effect on capital structure and firm value and capital structure
does not mediate the effect of foreign ownership on firm value.
