Pengaruh Efikasi Diri Dan Keterlibatan Kerja Terhadap Motivasi Kerja Guru SMA Kecamatan Pujud Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to describe the effect of self-efficacy and work involvement
on the work motivation of high school teachers in Pujud District, Rokan Hilir
Regency. The background of the problem in this study is that the work motivation
of teachers in Pujud District is still not in accordance with what it should be,
which can be seen from; the teacher's responsibilities in carrying out tasks that
have not been maximized, carrying out tasks with targets that are not so clear,
independence in acting that is not so good, feelings of pleasure at work are still
low, and achievements have not reached the expectations of all parties In the
context of external motivation, there are also symptoms that are not satisfactory,
such as not being persistent in trying to meet needs, opportunities for promotion
that are not yet transparent, the absence of getting recognition for the work
achieved, and there are still teachers working with low expectations in getting
decent rewards. , even the rewards received are not commensurate with the work
done. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative research and survey
method with correlational research (correlational research). The data collection
technique used is a questionnaire with 99 respondents from 131 public high
school teachers in Pujud District, Rokan Hilir Regency who were randomly
selected as samples using the Slovin formula. The research method was carried
out, namely the respondents gave responses to the questionnaire in the form of a
Likert scale consisting of five answer choices, namely Very often, Often, Rarely,
Very Rarely and Never. Analysis of the data used is descriptive and inferential
statistics.
After conducting research and data analysis, it was found that there was a
significant effect between the variables of self-efficacy (X1) and work involvement
(X2) on the work motivation (Y) of teachers at SMA Pujud District, Rokan Hilir
Regency with coefficient of sig.< 0,05. There are significant effect of self-efficacy
(X1) to work motivation (Y) with regression coefficient 0,351 and significant effect
of work involvement (X2) to work motivation (Y) with regression coefficient 0,253.
