Hubungan Iklim Kerja Dan Motivasi Kerja Dengan Profesionalisme Guru SMP Negeri Di Kecamatan Pangkalan Kerinci, Kabupaten Pelalawan
The objectives of this research are to analyse and examine: 1) the
correlation between work climate and teacher professionalism, 2) the correlation
between work motivation and teacher professionalism, and 3) the correlation
between work climate and work motivation with teacher professionalism. This
research is quantitative research with survey method and data analysis using
correlational technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert
scale. The number of samples in this study was 60 teachers at public junior high
schools in Pangkalan Kerinci out of a total of 149 teachers.
The results of this research indicate that the better the work climate, the
professionalism of teachers will increase. Likewise with work motivation, where
the higher work motivation will have an impact on increasing the professionalism
of teachers in schools. Work climate factors and work motivation together have a
positive and significant correlation with teacher professionalism. Contribution of
59.29% is given by the work climate and work motivation to the professionalism
of teachers.
