Kontribusi Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah Dan Kemampuan Manajerial Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Mutu Pendidikan Di Sekolah Dasar Se Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to describe the contribution of the School Operational
Assistance Fund and the Principal's Managerial Ability to the Quality of
Education in Elementary Schools in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The
background of the problem in this research is that it is found in the field that many
principals find it difficult to manage the school's Operational Assistance funds
properly, so the quality of education in public schools is very low compared to
private schools whose funds are managed by foundations. Furthermore, the
condition of elementary schools in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency, shows
that the quality is still low. In addition, in terms of graduates, it can be said that
elementary school graduates in Bangko District have not been able to compete to
get into favorite schools such as Bangko State Junior High School 1, and Bangko
State Junior High School 2 with (85%) rejected so that they have not been able to
compete to improve the quality of education which is increasingly having high
competitiveness. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research and
survey method with explanatory. The data collection technique used is a
questionnaire with all elementary school principals in Bangko District, Rokan
Hilir Regency with a total of 37 school principals selected by saturated sampling
technique. The research method was carried out, namely the respondents gave
responses to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale consisting of five
answer options, namely Strongly Agree, Agree, Hesitate, Disagree, and Strongly
Disagree. The data analysis used is descriptive and inferential statistics.
Based on the data analysis, it was found that the significant contribution of
the School Operational Assistance Fund variable to the quality of education was
12.4% with a low interpretation, because there were still 87.6% determined by
other factors that were not part of this study; furthermore, obtained a significant
contribution between managerial ability variables on the quality of education by
27.4% with a low interpretation, because there are still 72.6% determined by
other factors that are not part of this study; and obtained a jointly significant
contribution between the variables of the School Operational Assistance Fund
and managerial ability to the quality of education of 31.2% with a low
interpretation, because there are still 68.8% determined by other factors that are
not part of this study.
