Analisis Strategi Bersaing Pada Indonesian Creative School Pekanbaru
This study intends to determine the competitive strategy of schools that follow an international curriculum, specifically the Indonesian Creative School in Pekanbaru. Because more and more rivals have the same program, this is being used to develop tactics in the face of the education business in the city of Pekanbaru.
This study takes a qualitative method by utilizing the SWOT analysis concept, which was previously calculated using the IFE matrix, EFE matrix, and IE matrix. Internal and external environmental variables such as policy management, educational quality, facilities and infrastructure, human resources, and facilities are used as a guide to get the best competitive start-up. The IFE matrix generates a total score of 3.20 (internally strong), the EFE matrix generates a total score of 3.00 (strong external), the SWOT matrix generates alternative strategies based on business strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and the IE matrix generates three competing strategies, namely market penetration strategies, market development strategies, and market penetration strategies. The issues of public trust, the same Cambridge curriculum program, and the matter of old building disputes are all issues that need to be addressed.
