Efektivitas Kebijakan Pengendalian Transportasi Dalam Rangka Pencegahan Penyebaran Covid-19 (Studi Kasus Pada Moda Transportasi Darat Dalam Kota Di Kota Pekanbaru)

Transport control is a government policy designed to realize a goal that the
covid-19 in the pekanbaru city can be suppressed and quickly overcome for
propagation. The implementation of this policy has problems in the field, namely the
increasing confirmation of positive cases of covid-19 in pekanbaru city. The purpose
of this study was to determine the effectiveness of transportation control policies as
an effort to prevent the spread of covid-19. The theory used is the theory of Budiani
(2007), namely 4 criteria for effectiveness: target accuracy, socialization, objectives
and monitoring. The research method used qualitative methods as descriptive
research in the form of in-depth written and oral data. The informants were taken by
purposive sampling technique, namely the sampling technique with certain
considerations. The research method used interview, observation and documentation.
The results of this study indicate that effectiveness of transportation control policies
in order to prevent the spread of the covid-19 in pekanbaru city is not running
effectively, because in its implementation there are still obstacles such as a lack of
personnel or membersof policy implementers and law enforcers. Lack of public
awareness and there are still people who do not believe in the existence of covid-19.
