The increase in the number of elderly people every year has an impact on the
emergence of health problems, both physical (physical), social, psychological and
physical aspects of nursing homes, while the management of nursing homes is still
not optimal. The purpose of the study was to determine a sustainable nursing
home environmental management model. Descriptive survey research method

homes in Riau and West Sumatra Provinces. Population 180 elderly, sample 80

the physical environment (Meteran, Lux Meter, Thermohygro) observation sheet.

(physical) and economic conditions, using questionnaires and recording devices.
Processing data using excel and Confirmatory Faktor Analysis (CFA). Analysis of
quantitative and qualitative data. Results: The physical environment that meets
the requirements in the nursing home Husnul Khotimah Pekanbaru (64.10%), the
nursing home Sabai Nan Aluih Pariaman (63.46%). But there are still those who
do not meet the requirements, the nursing home for Husnul Khotimah Pekanbaru
35.90%, the nursing home for Sabai Nan Aluih Pariaman 36.54%. The social
environment is mostly more than 76.65% in the “enough” category. The majority
of psychological health conditions are 97.5% in the "enough" category. However,
the perception of the elderly towards managers is more than half of 67.5% in the
"good" category. The most physical (physical) conditions of disease are
hypertension (54.3%) and rheumatism more than half (64%), economic factors in
Pekanbaru nursing homes are minimal at Rp. 1,800,0007,996 and Pariaman
nursing homes for Rp. 2,753,098,676 “not sufficient " Of the several indicators
used by researchers, what is still a concern is the physical environment of nursing
homes. The sustainable nursing home management model is realized through
theory, journals, field studies, empirical evidence, CFA and expert validity tests,
can be accepted according to procedures by taking into account aspects of the
nursing home's physical environment, physical dimensions (physical), social,
psychological, spiritual and economic well-being , for the realization of healthy
elderly. This model is recommended for managing, developing, establishing
nursing homes, and as a consideration for relevant agencies in managing nursing
