Pengaruh Trichokompos Tkks Dan Pupuk Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Cabai Merah (Capsicum Anuum L.)
ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the interaction of trichocompost TKKS and NPK fertilizer and to obtain the best combination treatment of trichocompost TKKS and NPK fertilizer in producing growth and production of red chili. The research was conducted at Experimental Garden of Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau, as long as from October to February 2019. The research has been carried out experimentally using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors and 3 replications. Factor I: Trichocompost TKKS fertilizer (T) consists of 3 levels, namely: T1: Trichocompost TKKS 5 tons.ha-1, T2: Trichocompost TKKS 7.5 tons.ha-1, T3: Trichocompost TKKS 10 ton.ha-1, Factor II: NPK fertilizer (N) consists of 3 levels, namely: N1: NPK 200 kg.ha-1, N2: NPK 400 kg.ha-1, N3: NPK 600 kg.ha-1, there were 9 combinations and 3 replicates each, resulting in 27 experimental plots. Each plot consisted of 6 plants with a spacing of 60 × 80 cm and 4 plants were taken as samples. The observed parameters were plant height, canopy width, harvest age, fruit diameter, fruit length, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, and fruit weight per plot. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using variance. The average results of the analysis were continued by Duncan’s new multiple range test (DNMRT) at 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of trichocompost TKKS fertilizer and NPK fertilizer had no significant effect on plant height, canopy width, harvest age, fruit diameter, fruit length, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant and fruit weight per plot. The best combination of treatments cannot be determined because there are no significant differences in each observation due to pest and disease attacks.
