Pengaruh Kolarhino Terhadap Populasi Cacing Tanah Di Bawah Tegakan Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.)
ABSTRACT
Addition of Kolarhino can increase the soil’s fertility but not yet known about effect of adding kolarhino towards earthworm population under palm oil plant stand. The research was carried out at PTPN V Sei Galuh Gardens, Kampar Regency and the Laboratory of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Jalan Bina Widya Km 12.5 Simpang Baru Village, Tampan District Pekanbaru, Riau Province. The study was conducted experimentally using a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 doses of treatment and repeated 4 times, so that 16 experimental units were obtained. The types of treatment were without kolarhino (K0), kolarhino 5 kg/plant (K1), kolarhino 10 kg/plant (K2), kolarhino 15 kg/plant (K3). Parameters observed included earthworm species, small worm density, large worm density, worm population density and relative density. The results showed that the effect of kolarhino as much as 15/plant was the best so that it gave the effect of increasing the density of small worms, large worms, soil population density and relative density in the 2nd month. In addition, the administration of kolarhino with higher doses resulted in the density of small worms, large worms, soil population density and relative density increasing and the average administration of kolarhino under oil palm stands in the 3rd month tended to decrease the density of small worms. large worms, soil worm population density and relative density.
