Pengaruh Pemberian Benzyl Amino Purine Dan Pupuk Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kakao (Theobroma Cacao L.)
ABSTRACT
This research aimed to determine the effect of the best BAP concentration at the same NPK fertilizer dosage, the effect of the best NPK fertilizer dosage at the same BAP concentration, and the primary effect of BAP concentration and NPK fertilizer dosage towards cocoa seedling growth. The research was conducted in the Experimental Field of Agriculture Faculty of Universitas Riau from April to July 2019. This research used a split-plot design arranged according to a completely randomized design (CRD). The whole-plot factor was the BAP concentration, consisting of three levels: without BAP treatment (0 ppm), 10 ppm, and 20 ppm. The split-plot factor was the NPK fertilizer dosage consisting of four levels: 3 g per plant, 6 g per plant, 9 g per plant, and 12 g per plant. The significant data from the variance analysis were tested further with the Honestly Significant Differences (HSD) at the level of 5%. The results showed no interaction between BAP concentration and NPK fertilizer dosage for the whole observed parameters. The BAP concentration of 20 ppm indicated the best plant growth on plant height, the number of leaves, stem diameter, leaf area, root volume, and seedling dry weight parameters. The NPK fertilizer dosage of 12 g per plant indicated the best plant growth on the amount of chlorophyll, plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root volume, and seed dry weight parameters.
