Aplikasi Kombinasi Pupuk Anorganik Dan Jerami Padi Dengan Teknologi Mikrob Pada Tanaman Padi (Oryza Sativa L.) Di Lahan Gambut
ABSTRACT Increasing rice production in Riau can be done by increasing the harvest area by utilizing peat lands and applying cultivation technology. Rice cultivation on peat lands faces obstacles namely low soil fertility. Therefore it was necessary to know the right fertilizers for rice cultivation in peat lands, including by combining inorganic fertilizers with organic fertilizers in the form of rice straw compost and rice straw litter plus a consortium of cellulolytic bacteria. The aim of this research was to find the best combination of inorganic fertilizers and rice straw with microbial technology on rice plants in peat lands. This research was conducted experimentally using a non-factorial completely randomized design (CRD) with seven treatment combinations. The treatment combination, namely, P1 = 100% inorganic fertilizer, P2 = 75% inorganic fertilizer + 25% rice straw compost, P3 = 50% inorganic fertilizer + 50% rice straw compost, P4 = 25% inorganic fertilizer + 75% rice straw compost, P5 = 75% inorganic fertilizer + 25% rice straw litter + 25% microb consortium, P6 = 50% inorganic fertilizer + 50% rice straw litter + 50% microb consortium, P7 = 25% inorganic fertilizer + 75% rice straw litter + 75 % microb consortium. The treatment combination was repeated 3 times, then obtained 21 experimental plots. The results showed that offering a combination of 75% inorganic fertilizer and 25% rice straw compost was able to produce the highest panicle length parameters and dry yield compared to other combinations. The combination of inorganic fertilizers, rice straw litter, and microbial consortium has not been able to produce good growth and production in rice plants on peat so that for rice cultivation on peatlands, it is better to use rice straw compost combined with inorganic fertilizers (75% inorganic fertilizer and 25% compost. straw).
