Evaluasi Berbagai Karakter Agronomi Kedelai (Glycine Max [L.] Merrill) Pada Galur F7 Hasil Persilangan Grobogan Dengan Km 25
ABSTRACT
This study aims to evaluate the various agronomic characters of the F7 lines of soybean cross varieties Grobogan and KM25 so that potential lines can be determined in the F8 generation. A total of 10 genotypes were planted consisting of 8 F7 lines and 2 comparison parents (Grobogan and KM25 varieties). The changes observed included short flowering, harvesting periods, plant height, number of primary branches, number of pods per plant, number of filled pods, number of seeds per plant, weight of seeds per plant, weight of 100 seeds, weight of seeds per m2, weight of plants per plot, and the harvest index. The data were analyzed statistically using SAS and the results of the analysis of variance were continued with the Dunnett test of 5%. Analysis of variance shows that there is significant differences between the F7 soybean lines and the comparison parents, namely the characters of short flowering, harvesting periods, plant height, number of pods per plant, number of pithy pods per plant, weight of seeds per plant, weight of 100 seeds, weight of seeds per m2, plant weight per plot and harvest index. The character of the seed weight per plant has a wide diversity value because it is twice the standard error. The characters included in the high heritability value group were the characters of the number of pods per plant, the number of pithy pods per plant, the number of seeds per plant, the weight of seeds per m2 and the weight of plants per plot and the harvest index. The value of the selection response was the highest on the character of plant weight per plot. High producing and early maturity characters can be used as criteria for selecting new superior varieties
