Biomonitoring Air Permukaan Danau Buatan Selais Pada Kampus Universitas Riau
ABSTRACT
Surface water quality is regulated by surrounding anthropogenic activity and natural processes, including rainfall, climate change, erosion, weathering. Surface water quality can be determined using a combination of physical-chemical and biological parameters. This study aims to determine the quality of Selais artificial lake water, using physical and biological methods with saprobic coefficient on Selais Artificial Lake, Riau University. The study was conducted in AugustOctober 2020. The method used was purposive sampling. The results of the study found 5 classes with 17 species. The research results were obtained saprobic coefficient in β - mesosaprobic to β - meso / oligosaprobic lakes with light pollutant load Organic + Inorganic material. Based on Government Regulation No.82 of 2001, the results of measurements of the physical and chemical conditions of the Selais Artificial Lake environment have a value close to the fourth-grade water quality.
