Uji Efektifitas Dosis Tepung Bunga Krisan (Chrysanthemum Indicum) Terhadap Mortalitas Hama Bubuk Jagung (Sitophilus Zeamais M.) Di Penyimpanan
ABSTRACT
Pests that attack on corn crops in storage are corn powder pests (Sitophilus zeamais M). Pest control can be done by using chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum indicum) This research aims to obtain an effective dose of chrysanthemum flour against the mortality of corn powder pest Sitophilus zeamais M. Research has been conducted in the Plant Pest Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University. The study used a complete randomized design (RAL) with 6 treatments and 4 replays. The treatment given is some concentration of tubal root flour extract, 0 g.100g-1, 2 g.100g-1, 4 g.100g-1, 6 g.100g-1, 8 g.100g-1 and 10 g.100g-1 corn. The observed parameters are the initial time of death, lethal time 50, daily mortality, total mortality, severe shrinkage of corn seeds and the individual increase of Sitophilus zeamais. Daily mortality data obtained from the results of the study were descriptively analyzed and displayed in graph form, while other data such as total mortality, lethal time (LT50), depreciation of corn seed weight and individual increase were statistically analyzed using diversified fingerprints. The data from the fingerprint analysis will continue using the smallest real difference (BNT) further test at 5%. The results showed the Effectiveness Test of Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum indicum) in Storage, can be concluded the dose of chrysanthemum flour 10 g.100g-1 new corn is able to control Sitophilus zeamais with an initial time of death of 28.5 hours, LT50 376.5 hours, total mortality of 67.5%, weight shrinkage of seeds 2.59% and individual increase of 5.25%.
