Kajian Floristik Tumbuhan Paku (Pteridofita) Di Kecamatan Benai Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Provinsi Riau

ABSTRACT Kuantan Singingi Regency, especially Benai District, is one of the distribution places for ferns. The purpose of this research is to conduct a floristic study of the types of ferns that grow in Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. Samples in the field were collected by the exploration method. Then the morphological identification was carried out and the data were analyzed using the NTSys pc 2.02 program with the aim of obtaining dendograms from 23 types of ferns found in Benai District. After identification, it was obtained 18 genera and 13 families. The Polipodiaceae family was the largest species found in this study, namely 5 species. The dendogram obtained was divided into two groups which were grouped based on leaf type, namely monomorphic leaf type and dimorphic leaf type.
