Efektivitas Pelayanan Publik Pada Dinas Kependudukan Dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Di Masa Pandemi Covid-19
Covid-19 has had a huge impact on all aspects of life, including public
services. To destroy he chain of covid-19 deployment, the government closed
public services. To continue to provide public services, the Population and Civil
Registration Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency implements an online service
system. Seeing the number of complaints from the public, after the issuance of the
policy it was allowed to reopen face-to-face services, the Population and Civil
Registration Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency reopened services and carried
out outside the office to avoid direct contact between employees and the
community also to avoid crowds in the office. The purpose of this study was to
determine and analyze the effectiveness of services and efforts that have been
carried out by the Population and Civil Registration Office of Kuantan Singingi
Regency, as well as the factors that blocking the effectiveness of services at the
Kuantan Singingi Regency Population and Civil Registration Office during the
Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive qualitative research which is
analyzed by qualitative data analysis method. The results of this study indicate
that the effectiveness of the Population and Civil Registration Service of Kuantan
Singingi Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic is still less effective. Efforts that
have been made by the Population and Civil Registration Office of Kuantan
Singingi Regency in providing public services during the Covid-19 pandemic are
implementing an online service system, renovating special service rooms, creating
websites or online service platforms. The factors that block the effectiveness of
services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Kuantan Singingi
Regency in providing services during the Covid-19 pandemic are employee
discipline and infrastructure.
