The achievement of learning objectives can be seen from the learning outcomes obtained by students. To achieve good learning outcomes, students must learn, and in learning itself there are factors that influence it. This study aims to analyze the effect of learning motivation and family socio-economic conditions in improving student learning outcomes.
The data used consisted of primary data for the variables of learning motivation and socio-economic conditions of the family and secondary for the variables of student learning outcomes. The data collection technique used a questionnaire for the variables of learning motivation and socio-economic conditions of the family as well as documentation for the variables of student learning outcomes. The population of this research is 567 high school students in East Kampar District. The sample is 235 students (Sloven formula) with the sampling technique using proportional random sampling. The analytical method used is multiple regression with the help of SPSS.
The results of the analysis show that students of State Senior High Schools in Kampar Utara District have below average motivation or more students have below average motivation with a not too much difference. This condition shows that the students of State Senior High Schools in Kampar Utara District have the motivation to learn, but there are still some of these students who have low learning motivation.
Learning motivation has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in State Senior High Schools in Kampar Utara District. The better the student's motivation, the higher the student's learning outcomes. High learning motivation can provide perseverance and tenacity in the face of difficulties, have an interest in success including being able to defend opinions, not easily letting go of things that are already believed, happy to find and solve problems which this condition will be able to improve students' abilities in mastering the subject matter. thereby increasing student learning outcomes.
State Senior High Schools students in Kampar Utara District have good family socioeconomic conditions. State high school students in East Kampar District have good family socio-economic conditions. The good socio-economic conditions of the students' families are evident from the awareness of parents about education, the work situation of parents that encourage children to be enthusiastic about learning, the level of income of parents who are able to support the fulfillment of learning facilities that will be used by children, including ownership of goods/assets intended for adults. parents to facilitate children in

learning, including the position or position of parents in the community which is classified as good, is a factor in the formation of socio-economic conditions for the family of SMA Negeri Se-Kecamatan Kampar Timur classified in the good category.
Family socio-economic conditions have a significant effect on student learning outcomes in State Senior High Schools Kampar Utara District. The family's socio-economic conditions are stable and fulfilled, so this will affect the thinking ability of their children at school. Parental support in the form of fulfilling learning facilities that will be used by their children in the teaching and learning process supported by parental awareness about education can help children understand the learning material so as to improve student learning outcomes.
Students' learning motivation and family socio-economic conditions can improve student learning outcomes in State Senior High Schools in Kampar Utara District. The higher students' learning motivation can improve student learning outcomes even though the socioeconomic conditions of the family are relatively low, as well as the high socioeconomic conditions of the family, both situations have proven that learning motivation and socio-economic conditions can simultaneously improve learning outcomes. Socio-economic conditions of the family are indeed as one of the extrinsic factors of students being able to provide encouragement to increase motivation to keep wanting to learn, excel or want to feel the education bench, although it does not rule out that there are other factors that can also improve student learning outcomes.
