Poda Dalam Upacara Perkawinan Suku Batak Mandailing Kecamatan Bangun Purba

This research is entitled Poda in the Marriage Ceremony of the Mandailing Batak Tribe, Bangun Purba District. This study aims to describe the poda delivered in the implementation of the marriage ceremony of the Mandailing Batak tribe, Bangun Purba District. This type of research is a qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. This research uses analytical descriptive method, namely by analyzing and describing descriptively the data obtained in the study, broken down in the form of words instead of numbers. The source of data in this study is the poda contained in the marriage ceremony of the Mandailing Batak tribe, Bangun Purba District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. He validity of the data was obtained by triangulation technique. The data obtained in the study were 30 data, while the data findings were 5 data on the marsapa boru ceremony, 1 data on the marriage ceremony ceremony, 19 data on the mangalap boru and palakka boru ceremonies, and 5 data on the party ceremony. In this study, the authors did not find data on the pataru Tanda ceremony, the most data found in the mangalap boru and palakka boru ceremonies.
