Dekadensi Moral Dalam Novel Dua Garis Biru Karya Lucia Priandarini

The moral decadence in the novel Dua Garis Biru is a picture of social problems like what happened in Indonesia and has always been a problem that never goes away in society. If there is an event then there are also causes and consequences that will be found in this study. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis method, namely analyzing and describing descriptively the results of the data found in the form of words. The data analysis technique in this study was preceded by repeated reading, collecting, classifying, analyzing, explaining and concluding the results obtained from the research object. Data collection techniques applied are reading and note-taking techniques. The data source of this research is the novel Dua Garis Biru by Lucia Priandarini. This research uses an objective approach with structuralism theory and psychoanalytic theory to find intrinsic and personality elements in the form of moral decadence. Based on the results of data analysis, 15 data were found showing moral decadence events consisting of 4 forms of moral deadence, 4 data on the causes of moral decadence, and 7 data on the consequences of moral decadence. The forms of moral decadence found are behavior ignoring applicable rules, bad speech behavior, premature sexual maturity and deviation, self-destructive attitude. While the causes of moral decadence behavior that have been found are the influence of authoritarian parents, parents who are too affectionate, unstable conditions, and lack of education. The result of moral decadence is that it affects oneself and the family.
