Pengaruh Suhu Karbonisasi Terhadap Elektroda Karbon Dari Biomassa Daun Kelapa Sawit Untuk Aplikasi Sel Superkapasitor
ABSTACT
Palm leaf supercapacitor electrodes have been successfully made with variations
in carbonization temperatures in samples DKS - 600, DKS - 700, and DKS - 800,
the activator used is 1 M KOH. Characterization of physical properties on carbon
electrodes includes density, XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) and FTIR (Fourier
Transform Infrared). The electrochemical characterization of the supercapacitor,
namely, CV (Cyclic Voltammetry). The results on the physical characterization of
XRD showed that the lowest Lc value was owned by the DKS-600 sample,
namely 6.05 nm. Low Lc values result in large surface areas. The results of the
FTIR physical characterization showed that the best carbon functional group was
found in the DKS-600 sample. The characterization of the electrochemical
properties of the supercapacitor cells in the palm leaf samples showed that the
higher the temperature, the lower the specific capacitance value. The specific
capacitances in the samples DKS - 600, DKS - 700, and DKS - 800 are
respectively 132.54 F / g, 105.63 F / g, and 91.18 F / g.
