Studi Alat Penangkapan Ikan Dengan Sondong Di Perairan Kota Dumai

Sondong’s fishing equipment was taken to fishing with drived in method
because of its operating method, which was driven along the bow of the ship. The
purpose of this study was to know of the difficulty of operation on a fishing
trawler in the waters of the city of Dumai. The method used in this study was a
survey, which was to make a direct field view of fishing activities and then to
collect information through an interview of dragnet fishermen. Of the 25
fishermen who have interviewed as many as 23 fishermen know that the dragnet
fishing apparatus has been banned and that the absence of strict penalties:
regulations from the ministry of Marine fisheries and fisheries (KKP) as well as
the zoning laws which the fishermen are operating under the circumstances are
incomplete due to the fishing service and the Marine's illegal logging of the catch
Replacing the catch is due to a number of factors -- low capital and operational
ability.
