Karakterisasi Jenis-Jenis Nephelium (Sapindaceae) Di Kawasan Universitas Riau Berdasarkan Karakter Morfologi Dan Mikromorfologi Trikoma

The genus Nephelium is a tropical fruit plant belongs to Sapindaceae
family and native to southeastern Asia, including Indonesia. Nephelium species
are grown in University of Riau area. This study aims to characterize Nephelium
species in this area. The specimens were collected from the field using exploration
method. They were then photographed, prepared for herbarium, described and
scored. The score result was analized using NTSys software to construct
dendrogram. A total 46 individuals from four Nephelium species were identified
in this study (N. lappaceum, N. mutabile, N. ramboutan-ake, and N. maingayi).
The morphological variations were found in N. lappaceum are N. lappaceum
“Rapiah”, N. lappaceum “Gula Batu”, dan N. lappaceum “Aceh Kuning”. The
dendrogram obtained has a coefficient value ranging from 0,24 – 0,76. The
smallest coefficient found at N. lappaceum “Gula Batu” and N. mutabile, the
largest coefficient found at N. lappaceum “Rapiah” and N. lappaceum “Gula
Batu”.
