Komunitas Belalang (Orthoptera) Di Hutan Larangan Adat Rumbio Desa Rumbio,Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau

Grasshoppers are animals that can be found in everyday life. Grasshoppers are
able to live in almost all terrestrial ecosystems. This study airned to determine the
orthoptera grasshopper species community in the Rumbio Customary Prohibition
Forest. Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Observations were made from August to
September 2020 on five different lines: the first line of Koto Naghago, the second line
of Panoghan, the third line of Tanjung Kulim, the fourth line of the Halaman Kuyang,
and the fifth line of Cubodak Mengkarak. The method of catching grasshoppers uses
the exploration method. Catching grasshoppers was carried out using insect nets and
Malaise Trap. Overall, the results obtained were 114 individuals from five families and
16. grasshoppers spesies found from these five families, namely Acrididae, Gryllidae,
Hapidoporidae, Phyrgomorphidae, and Tettigonidae. Based on the results, many
grasshoppers were found in the fifth line with a percentage value for the number of
individuals that was 28%, and the least was found in the third line with a percentage
value for the number of individuals of 13%.
