Analisis Parameter Yang Memengaruhi Soda Loss Pada Washing Fiberline 3
ABSTRACT
Washing is the activity of removing dirt dissolved in brown pulp. Washing is
based on four basic processes: dilution, drying, diffusion and displacement. All
types of washers employ some or all of these processes during pulp washing. By
using a multistage counter current sequence system, using the cleanest water
added at the end of the stage and the resulting filtrate is used in the previous stage
until it reaches the last washing zone. The minimum amount of "clean water"
added to the final wash step is to remove dissolved solids efficiently. In fiberline 3
the washing process consists of several processes, namely screening, decnotting,
press, oxygen delignification, and press. The success of the washing process
cannot be separated from the parameters that influence it. Washing can be said to
be good if the resulting soda loss parameter is small, on the other hand, if the
soda loss parameter is high, it can be said that the washing process is not good.
Soda loss is the amount of sodium in kg / ADT of pulp carried by the remaining
pulp suspension of washing (Air Dry Tone). From the data analysis, there are
several parameters that have a strong influence on soda loss carried over to the
bleaching process, including the Post Oxygen Washing (POW) 2 press torque

(POW) 1 inlet consistency parameter gets the correlation value of 0.5129 to the
value of soda loss.
