Pengaruh Quality Control System Scanner Terhadap Air Dry Metric Tonnes Bale Pulp Dryer #4
ABSTRACT
Quality Control System (QCS) is a system used to receive and transmit measurement
results in the form of parameters or the quality of a pulp product on an ongoing basis.
The measurement results in the form of moisture content and basis weight will be
transcribed to the Master Computer and further calculated to obtain the desired pulp
quality value. Based on the data obtained, the regression factor obtained was 51.55%.
The graph shows the instability of the Gross Weight and Air Dry Metric Tonnes
(ADMT) of Bale Pulp Dryer #4 (PD #4). This instability is due to differences in
Moisture Content and Base Weight of each pulp sheet. Stability of Moisture Content
and Basis Weight can be achieved by maintaining consistency stability and forming a
sheet in the forming section, controlling dilution on the Headbox, improving
Steambox control, maintaining the stability of the steam entering the dryer (steam
inlet dryer), and maintaining the stability of moisture content from the sheet. pulp
both before and after the inlet dryer, and check the QCS Scanner. Pulp sheet
produced using the QCS Scanner as a device will be more preserved and have a more
stable quality than the pulp sheet production process that does not use the QCS
Scanner.
