Pengaruh Temperature Chilled Water Terhadap Production Clo2 Di Integrated Clo2 Plant

ABSTRACT
In the process of making paper needed chemicals ClO2 which is one of the
chemicals that can help the process of bleaching the pulp will be produced to be
bleached pulp. Bleached pulp is the pulp that's been through the process of
bleaching. To produce ClO2 needed sodium chlorate (NaClO3) with a
concentration of 490 g/l and Hydrochloride Acid (HCl) with a concentration of
32% to reacted to a gas ClO2. In accordance with the needs of the plant, ClO2 is
produced-shaped liquid so as to require the aid of chilled water to absorb gas
ClO2 be ClO2 liquid with a concentration of 10 g/l. The process of absorption of
use types of tower plate with a capacity of 50 Tons. Temperature of chilled water
is kept 7-8°C to achieve the production of 50 Tons/day at CP#1, so that the
temperature of chilled water is very influential on the production of ClO2.
Through the observations made against the influence of the temperature of chilled
water to the production obtained accuracy rate of 69% and 31% other influenced
by several factors, namely the concentration of HCl, the flow of chilled water and
the concentration of ClO2. Also obtained a ratio of 2 months in the year 2020 and
year 2021 are seeing that in the year 2021 is more optimal compared to the year
2020 in the form of temperature chilled water 7,68°C resulted in the production of
ClO2 50,31 tons in 2021 and temperature chilled water 7,97°C resulted in the
production of ClO2 48,08 ton low in 2020.
