Hubungan Pekerjaan Ibu Dengan Efikasi Diri Dalam Pemberian Asi Eksklusif
Mother's milk (ASI) is the best given to babies until the age of 6
months . One of the factors causing the low coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is
the status of working mothers, this is because working mothers have little time so
that it can affect the mother's self-efficacy in breastfeeding . This study aims to
determine the relationship between mother's work and self-efficacy in
breastfeeding. Metode: This study was a descriptive quantitative research
correlation with the approach of cross sectional. The data were collected using a
self-efficacy questionnaire consisting of 14 questions to 98 respondents using
the Technique accidental sampling of working mothers in the working area of the
Sidomulyo Health Center, Pekanbaru City. Data analysis used univariate analysis
and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square test . Results: mothers who work >7 hours
have moderate self-efficacy (50.0%) and there is a significant relationship
between mother's work and self-efficacy in exclusive breastfeeding with p value
0.000 < (0.05). Conclusion: mother's occupation has a significant relationship
with self-efficacy in exclusive breastfeeding.
