Pengelolaan Pasar Jongkok Di Tembilahan (2009- 2015)

Indonesia in realizing a just and prosperous society based on Pancasila
and laws 1945 that are balanced and the improvement and implementation of national
development needs to be maintained properly. The Jongkok Market was originally
established in 1980 but experienced a setback until the existence of the squat market
began reppear in 1998. The aims of this study are as follows: (1) to determine the
beginning of the establishment of the squat market in Tembilahan. (2) to find out the
management of the squat market in Tembilahan. (3) to find out the impact of the
squat market on the economic life of the people in Tembilahan. This study uses
historical research methods with a qualitative approach, namely an event,character or
problem that is considered appropriate and important that occurred in the past
descriptively,critically,and analytically. The results of this study are the beginning of
the establishment of the squat market in Tembilahan,where the squat market was
established in Tembilahan in the 1980s but experienced significant development in
1999. The management of the squat market in Tembilahan is carried out in two fields,
namely market management carried out by APKL and Disperindag the views of the
surrounding community on the existence of the jongkok market which can help
economy of small communities who live in the squat market.
