The Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance Program was created due to
the COVID-19 outbreak that hit the world, including Indonesia, which caused
the economic condition of the community to decline. Direct Village Fund Cash
Assistance is a program created by the Government that aims to help the
economy of the community affected by COVID-19, assistance in the form of
money whose funds are sourced from the village fund budget. This research was
conducted to see the effectiveness of the implementation of the Village Fund
Direct Cash Assistance Program. The purpose of this study was to see how
effective the implementation of the Village Fund Cash Assistance Program was
during the COVID-19 pandemic in Teratak Jering Village, Kuantan Hilir
Seberang District, Kuantan Singingi Regency and to find out what factors
hindered the effectiveness of implementing the Village Fund Cash Transfer
Program. during the COVID-19 pandemic in Teratak Jering Village, Kuantan
Hilir Seberang District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The theory used in this
research is the effectiveness of the program according to Campbell. To answer
these problems the researchers used a qualitative and descriptive approach. In
this study the authors used data collection techniques in the form of interviews,
observation and documentation and then analyzed based on research problems.
The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of the implementation of
the direct cash assistance program for village funds during the COVID-19
pandemic in Teratak Jering Village, Kuantan Hilir Seberang District, Kuantan
Singingi Regency has not run effectively. There are obstacles or obstacles in the
implementation of the Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance Program during the
COVID-19 pandemic in Teratak Jering Village, Kuantan Hilir Seberang
District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, including budget and human resources.
