Sejarah Perkembangan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Muhammadiyah 3 Terpadu Pekanbaru (2003-2019)

This thesis is entitled "History of the Development of the Muhammadiyah 3 Integrated Vocational High School Pekanbaru 2003-2019". The purpose of this study is to find out (1) how the history of the establishment of the Muhammadiyah 3 Integrated Vocational High School Pekanbaru. (2) how was the development of the Muhammadiyah 3 Integrated Vocational High School Pekanbaru in 2003-2019 (3) what were the driving factors and inhibiting factors of the Pekanbaru 3 Muhammadiyah Integrated Vocational High School in 2003-2019. This study uses a historical approach, data collection methods with field studies in the form of documentation and interviews as well as archive and library studies. This research was conducted at the Muhammadiyah 3 Integrated Vocational High School Pekanbaru. After the data is collected, data testing is carried out with source criticism, namely by testing the authenticity of the source and comparing the data with one another, such as comparing the results of interviews with written evidence. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that this school at the beginning of the establishment of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Terpadu Pekanbaru, was originally SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Campus 2 Panam-Pekanbaru, which began operating in 2003, by opening 2 departments, namely: (1) Department of Automotive Mechanical Engineering . (2) Department of Electronic Engineering. in the 2008/2009 school year, the Department of Informatics Engineering was opened. Then in 2010 the forerunner of the establishment of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Campus 2 Panam was managed to become SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Integrated Pekanbaru. The results of this study are, (1) SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Terpadu Pekanbaru was established in 2003 as a campus school far from SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru which is located in the lower market (2) SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Terpadu has developed quite rapidly in several years, in several aspects such as buildings and infrastructure, but experienced ups and downs in the aspect of the number of students. (3) the supporting factors for SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Terpadu Pekanbaru are the role and spirit of the founders and teachers, and getting support from the community and also the government during the early growth of SMK Muhammadiyah
3 Terpadu Pekanbaru. The factor that hinders SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Terpadu Pekanbaru is the limitations of teachers, rooms and learning buildings in the early days of pioneering.
