Dampak Kehadiran Perusahaan Perkebunan Pt. Musim Mas Terhadap Kondisi Desa Tanjung Beringin Kecamatan Pangkalan Kuras Kabupaten Pelalawan Tahun 2016 - 2021

Company is any form of business that is permanent and continuous and
which is established, works and is domiciled in the territory of the Republic of
Indonesia with the aim of obtaining profits and or profits. However, the presence
of the company also certainly has an impact on the welfare of the community and
the area it occupies. This study aims to see the impact that occurs from the
presence of the plantation company PT. Musim Mas on the condition of Tanjung
Beringin village, Pangkalan Kuras sub-district, Pelalawan district, of course, apart
from positive impacts, there are also negative impacts.
In this study, the author uses the theory of village development and the
theory of village autonomy to measure the state of the village under study using a
qualitative approach that uses descriptive methods to create a description of the
situation or event so that this method aims to accumulate basic data.
Based on the results of the study found problems or obstacles from the presence of
the plantation company PT. Musim Mas in Tanjung Beringin village, such as the
lack of intensity of communication between the village and the company so that it
is feared that the targets of the company's program are not in accordance with the
needs of the Tanjung Beringin village community, the degradation of cultural and
religious values of the community, facilities that are still lacking such as health
facilities in the village . The village apparatus together with the village
community should establish intense communication with the company so that the
program from the company can be in accordance with what is expected and
needed by the village.
