Peranan Djuwari Dalam Operasi Trikora Di Irian Barat (1961-1963)
Djuwari is one of the figures in the military field of the Indonesian National Navy who operated Trikora in West Irian in 1961-1963. Djuwari was born in Surabaya on January 05, 1942, his parents named Doermin and Tiah. Djuwari is the fourth from five children. The aim of this research is to know the background of Djuwari's life, to know the role in Trikora operations in West Irian, to know the achievements Djuwari has achieved from the government. Data analysis using history writing method, consisting of several phases, namely heuristics, interpretation verification and historiography. As a result of this research, Djuwari received special military training from the Navy. Djuwari performed Trikora operations in 1961 to liberate Western Irian. He was appointed Nahkoda to transport troops, tanks and logistics during Trikora operations. Djuwari uses a ship of the Republic of Indonesia, a kind of warship called KRI Teluk Manado 505. After completion of the work, Djuwari was placed in the Dumai area. When he retired, Djuwari joined the Legion veterans' organization of the Republic of Indonesia.
