learning during the covid-19 pandemic teachers have a strong desire for self-competence. This is because teachers hope for the future needs to be developed especially in the manufacture and use of media, videos, and online learning methods especially in the covid-19 period. But one of the major problems of online learning is that many learners do not have the tools/smartphones to learn online, so teachers must look for ways that the problems during online learning can be overcome. This research aims to know (1). Student problems in learning (2). Teacher's creativity in history study during the covid-19 pandemic. The study involves qualitative methods. A data-collection technique that includes interview observation and documentation. The subject of this study is a history teacher and an X.1 student, XI IIS at the 1 Concong state high school of 12. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, data verification and deduction drawing. Studies indicate that learning problems students experience during online learning are that they lack smartphones and an unstable Internet network. Teacher creativity on a history course at country high school 1 Concong online studies at an X.1 IIS and XI IIS which is tapping applications like faceboook massenger, and Google form, Teacher creativity in finding appropriate applications to tackle learning problems to keep implementing online learning is supported by the massenger faceboook application. Students who do not have a smartphone can study with close friends from home and this application can be used even if it does not have an Internet kouta and an unstable Internet network.
