Uji Emisi Gas Co Dari Pembakaran Briket Campuran Tandan Kosong Sawit (Tks) Dan Spent Bleaching Earth (Sbe) Dengan Variasi Jarak Pengukuran Emisi Pada Skala Rumah Tangga
Abstrack : Biomass is an alternative energy source because it has hydrocarbon
molecules. In this study, processing of biomass into briquettes from plantation
waste is carried out in the form of Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunches with spent
bleaching earth to increase the calorific value produced. This research was
conducted to determine the effect of the concentration of mixed empty bunch of
palm with spent bleaching earth on carbon monoxide emissions and their
combustion rate. Therefore, this study was conducted to find out the results of CO
concentrations resulting from the combustion of TKS & SBE mixed briquettes
against variations in emission measurement distances. Emissions testing is done
using tools Environmental Combustion Analyzer Model 450. The results of the
analysis showed that the concentration of CO parameters for EFB briquettes with
variations in the measurement distances of 0 cm, 10 cm, 20 cm and 30 cm were
162 mg/Nm3, 141 mg/Nm3, and 74 mg/Nm3 and 69 mg/Nm3. The results of the
analysis showed that the concentration of CO parameters for mixed TKS and SBE
briquettes with variations in the measurement distances of 0 cm, 10 cm, 20 cm
and 30 cm, namely 132 mg/Nm3, 129 mg/Nm3, 58 mg/Nm3, and 5 mg/Nm3 was
still in the range. below quality standard The test results for safe distances that
can be used to cook are at a distance of 30 cm from the emission source, namely
with emissions test results below the quality standard of 69 mg/Nm3 for TKS
briquettes and 5 mg/Nm3 for TKS & SBE mixed briquettes.
