ABSTRACT
Livelihood in a simple sense can be interpreted as an effort made by everyone
to earn income to meet their needs. This research was conducted in Hang Tuah
Village, Perhentian Raja Sub District in March 2021. This study aims to describe the
changes in the livelihoods of Dumbo fish farmer (Clarias gariepinus) before and
after the Covid-19 Pandemic Period in Hang Tuah Village, Perhentian Raja Sub
District. The respondent method was determined by using Simple Random Sampling
with a total of 32 respondents. The conclusion from the results of this study.
Was that there were changes in the livelihoods of Dumbo fish farmer (Clarias
gariepinus) before and during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Hang Tuah Village,
Perhentian Raja Sub District on income variables, employment opportunities, human
resources, social conditions, and physical conditions seen from the Analysis of
Compare Paired Sample T Test which shows that t count> t table.
