Pengaruh Jenis Mata Pancing Terhadap Hasil Tangkapan Rawai Di Desa Bantan Air Kecamatan Bantan Kabupaten Bengkalis Provinsi Riau

This research was conducted in February 2021 in Bantan Village, Bantan
District, Bengkalis Regency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect
of the three types of hooks on the catch in the waters of the Malacca Strait.
Knowing the difference in catches from the operation of longline fishing gear
using the three hooks. The method used in this research is a fishing trial method
(experimental), two factors RAK (Randomized Design).
Based on the catch from each fishing line during the study, it was obtained
or it was known from the three types of fishing rods that were tested that there
was an effect of the shape of the hook on the catch of longline fishing gear, where
the line that got the most catches was the Tone Circle type, amounting to 75 fish.
fish caught, while the type J hook caught 75 fish and the Bait Holder hook caught
56 fish. The research was carried out for 7 days with a total of 3 fishing trips per
day and repeated fishing pitches 3 times with 3 types of fishing rods being the
object of research. The whole repetition is done 27 repetitions.
Types of hooks Tone circle, Bait Holder and type J get Hook Rate values
with an average of (14, 48), (10.67), and (14.28). Where the Tone Circle fishing
line is more effective than the bait holder and J type. From the One Way Anova
hypothesis test (analysis of variance) the interaction factor is -79.2957485 which
is smaller than the value of = 0.05 and = 0.01 or Fcount < Ftable = not significant
(the difference in fishing line has no significant effect on the catch).
