Analisis Kelayakan Finansial Alat Tangkap Jaring Senangin Di Perairan Sinaboi Rokan Hilir Provinsi Riau

ABSTRACT
This research will be carried out from February to March 2021 in the
waters of Sinaboi, Rokan Hilir, Riau Province. The method that will be used in
this research is the survey method.
The business sector carried out by local residents in Sinaboi is generally
engaged in the marine fisheries sector, where to meet the needs of daily life is to
become a fisherman. However, fluctuations in the fish season that occur cause
uncertainty in catch income so that it is not proportional to the costs incurred by
fishermen such as costs for fishing supplies, ship maintenance costs, fishing gear
maintenance costs, and investment or capital costs for purchasing new fishing
gear.
Net fishermen enjoy catching as many as 240 trips in 1 year with an
average catch of 20 trips in 1 month. The operating area of the happy net is in the
Sinaboi waters, Rokan Hilir district. The arrest operation is carried out once a day,
where the operation starts in the morning until the afternoon around 04.00-18.00
WIB.
The BCR value for the nets business in Sinaboi sub-district is 1.24, which
means that this business can be continued because it generates profits even though
it is not too large and this business is said to be feasible. FRR with a value of
18.04%, which means the fishing gear business has an FRR value which is higher
than the interest rate at the bank of 3.7% in February 2021, so it is very good to
invest in this business. PPC is worth 5.5, which means the return on investment or
capital invested by business owners takes approximately 5 years and 5 months.
Thus the fishing business using fishing nets is happy and profitable and feasible to
continue.
