Analisis Keragaman Hasil Tangkapan Gombang Di Desa Insit Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted in July to August 2018 in Insit Village of
Meranti Islands Regency, Riau Province. This study aims to find out the target of
capture using gombang fishing gear in the waters of Insit Village and analyze the
diversity of catches by using gombang in the waters of Insit Village. The methods
used in this study are survey methods and are analyzed descriptively.
Gombang fishing gear is a fishing and shrimp fishing tool that in its
operation utilizes tides (filter ned) where when the current is strong it will cause
the mouth opening of the gombang fishing gear to open perfectly. Gombang
fishing area in Insit village is 300 meters from the coastline with a depth of 14-16
meters, the time needed by fishermen to get to the Fishing Ground location is 15-
20 minutes. The depth of the waters in the operation of this fishing gear is 14-16
meters, the current speed ranges from 0.17 m / s, the brightness at a depth of 1.2
mter and the temperature ranges from 27-29 C.
Diversity is determined in a moderate state with a diversity value of 1.26
for the weight of fish and a diversity value of 1.29 for fish species. The diversity
of fish in Ingsit Village by using gombang fishing gear is still relatively
sustainable because there are still many catches obtained from every time the
fishing trip uses gombang fishing gear.
