Analisis Pengujian Tahanan Isolasi Transformator Daya Berdasarkan Hasil Uji Indeks Polarisasi Dan Disipasi Dielektrik (Tan Δ) Pada Gardu Induk Garuda Sakti
ABSTRACT
A power transformer is an electric power equipment that functions to transmit
high voltage electrical power to low voltage or vice versa (transform voltage).
Disturbances that occur in the transformer can result in power cuts, so
maintenance and testing is necessary so that the power transformer can operate
according to its usage period. In electrical power distribution operations is the
heart of transmission and distribution. Therefore to minimize damage to the
transformer must be maintained by using the right systems and equipment. With
the insulation used to isolate the transformer so that heat does not occur which
can damage the transformer, on the insulation resistance there are several ways
to test the insulation on the transformer power. In this study, researchers tested
the polarization index and delta tangent at the Garuda Sakti Substation to
determine whether the transformer's performance was good or not. First, the
polarization index test is calculated according to the standard. The results of the
polarization index (IP) test of the Garuda Sakti power transformer obtained that
the value declared to have met the test standard was still said to be good, i.e. the
average was above 2.0. Second, the tangent delta test which aims to determine the
quality of the insulation of an electrical equipment and to measure the capacitive
leakage current in the transformer. The results of the Tangen Delta test show that
the value of the tangent delta condition is still in the very good category with a
small average tangent delta of 0.1%.
