Rancang Bangun Dan Analisis Sistem Pengadukan Pada Fertigasi Pintar Berbasis Arduino
ABSTRACT
Indonesia is a country that has a large area of agricultural land. In order
for agricultural land to provide maximum yields, a quality fertilization and
irrigation system (fertigation) is needed. So far, the fertigation system has been
carried out conventionally, where fertilization is spread manually when the land
is irrigated. Conventional techniques such as those already in progress are
considered inefficient, because they cause a lot of fertilizer and water to be
wasted. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to design, develop and analyze
Arduino-based smart fertigation. This fertigation system consists of 2 main parts.
The first part is a mechanic which consists of a water tank which is at a height of
1 meter above the stirring tank. This height can provide a gravitational force
capable of flowing water. The liquid fertilizer tank is placed parallel to the
stirring tank and is equipped with a pump so that liquid fertilizer can be flowed
into the stirring tank. While the second part is the control system, sensor and
actuator components. The control system uses Arduino which aims to regulate the
volume of water, the volume of liquid fertilizer, and the duration of stirring so that
the fertigation composition is obtained according to the needs of the plant. The
volume of water is calculated by a flow sensor placed on the pipe. The volume of
liquid fertilizer is determined by the delay time on the pump. The percentage of
success of mixing EM4 liquid fertilizer and green manure with water are 99.561%
and 98.551%, respectively. Thus, the smart fertigation system that has been built
is operating properly and correctly.
