Sistem Pendeteksi Jenis Penyakit Stroke Menggunakan Sistem Pakar Dengan Metode Forward Chaining
ABSTRACT
At this time, Indonesia is ranked first with the highest number of stroke
cases in Asia, this makes the problem of stroke in Indonesia needs special
attention. Due to the large number of people affected by stroke, prevention efforts
are needed to reduce the number of stroke cases by checking stroke symptoms
earlier. Therefore, this study tries to apply the Forward Chaining method to the
early detection system for stroke to see the proportion and type of stroke suffered
by the user. The variables used include the types of stroke, symptom data of the
types of stroke, and the value of the certainty factor determined by the expert, as
the output in the form of the proportion and type of stroke suffered by the user.
The test results show the system can produce an accurate percentage and also the
correct type of stroke based on the input of symptoms suffered by the user. This
is evidenced by the alignment of the expert diagnosis results with the results
provided by the system with 95% accuracy.
