This study aims to produce Pool Table media for the ability to recognize the concept of size for children aged 4-5 years. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) development research. This development resulted in a Pool Table media product to be developed, the researchers used the Borg and Gall research and development procedure (Sugiyono, 2015), and it could be simplified into 5 steps or 7 steps, this was stated by Borg and Gall who understand the funds and time for researchers who are students who are writing (in Agusmi Rauza Ks, 2020). Therefore, the researcher uses 6 steps, namely potential and problems, data or information collection, product design, product validation, product revision and product testing. This is because the time during the COVID-19 pandemic has limited researchers from being able to go directly to the field.
Furthermore, product trials are used to see the feasibility of Pool Table media when used by children aged 4-5 years. This product trial was conducted with a limited trial of Pool Table media that will be used by children aged 4-5 years. This
trial is limited to only a few children using the Pool Table. Due to the limitations of researchers in carrying out extensive trials during this COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the assessment from the validator on the media assessment get an average percentage of 84% with a decent category. The results of the assessment of the validator on the assessment of the material get an average percentage of 83% with a decent category. And product trials with limited trials to 5 children from the observations of researchers that it can be said that it is feasible to use in the learning process. Therefore, overall Pool Table media products that have been developed can be said to be suitable for use to improve the ability to recognize the concept of size for children aged 4-5 years.
