Hubungan Antara Kecerdasan Emosional Dengan Kepercayaan Diri Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Tk Ridha Bunda Desa Seberang Sanglar Kecamatan Reteh Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
The purpose of this study was to see how big the relationship between emotional intelligence and self-confidence in children aged 5-6 years. This research was conducted in several steps, namely: 1) Population, 2) sample, 3) data collection, 4) filling in the observation sheet, 5) data processing and 6) conclusion. This research is a type of correlational research that aims to see whether there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and self-confidence. The data collection technique in this study was using an observation sheet. The instrument used in this study was arranged in the form of an observation sheet. The data analysis technique used in this research is simple correlation analysis of Pearson Product Moment. The results showed that the total self-confidence score was 69.168% "Good enough" while emotional intelligence was 67.068% "Good enough" and the relationship between emotional intelligence and self-confidence was 19.71% very strong or significant. In other words, the higher the emotional intelligence of the child, the higher the child's self-confidence.
