Pengembangan Media Smart Board Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berwudhu Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun

This study aims to (1) develop smart board media and (2) recognizing smart board media worthiness to improve the ability of children 5-6 years old to ablution in Kelurahan Pulau Karomah Kecamatan Sukajadi Kota Pekanbaru. The study is adopt research and development model according to Brog and Gall's theory. Observation, interview, quesioner, and documentation are the data collection technique in this study. To find out the effectiveness of the smart board media that was developed, a test was limited to six 5-6 years old. The data obtained is analyzed using a descriptive quantitative technique. Based on validation result and limited testing, smart board media is declared "feasible" to improve the ability of children aged 5-6 to ablution with overall score of 3.8 in the category is “very good”. The use of media that is easy to understand with a large display size makes this media appropriate for learning ablution for children. The use of smart board media also stimulates children's curiosity, seen when the media is played, children are enthusiastic to learn ablution and find out how the smart board media works.
